How Waterproof Shade Sails Are Different From Shade Sails?

A custom shade sail is a cloth used to create outdoor shade based by anchoring between several anchoring points. These cheap and easy to setup shades are generally installed for permanent use but last only for few years. They are generally setup at places such as eating areas and playgrounds where heat of the sun can be felt for long durations.

Waterproof Shade Sails
With advancement of technology, people are looking for a better quality of cloth that could protect them from sun and rains. Waterproof shade sails are an outstanding option as they not only provide protection from harmful UV rays but also help in keeping your outdoor area dry during rains.

Waterproof shade cloth has many uses around homes and commercial situations. It is a ninety percent grade shade fabric which has been treated with a UV stabilized resin to form a waterproof barrier. It can be used to create a waterproof layer in many situations including pergolas, vertical blinds and outdoor areas.

The shade cloth is a knitted fabric that can be used to reduce temperature. Waterproof shade cloth is the same material but has a resin coating on one side so that it can be used as a waterproof material. If the material is stretched for too long, the resin material in the waterproof cloth would tear off. The resin cloths also should not be used in horizontal position as the weight of the water could damage the material completely and would leave it useless. Experts say that it is important to fix these shades with resin side facing down for long lasting of sails.
